Paid Mr. Saunders |
A Mr Saunders was regularly paid large amounts of money in the 1790s, seemingly as loan repayments or for some other financial arrangement, but it is hard to be sure. |

Paid Thos. Harris Esqr [per] Capt. Frome |
Captain Frome paid many times in connection with Harris 1791-99, often for £50, and on one occasion for £600. The reason is unclear; he may have been the "Froome" paid on 6 November 1792 "for Warehouse Room", but perhaps he loaned the theatre money. |
