Unknown 1s 5d Unknown Rhodes's Bill Drury Lane paid at least three different Rhodeses in the 1790s. The recipient here may have been the Rhodes sometimes paid for letters and (if it was the same person) once paid for "Packthread & Porter". Although not noted in BD, that figure seems to have been a house servant named John Rhodes, often or mostly employed for messages. However, the recipient here may instead have been the "Rhodes & Co." (potentially Rhodes, Harwell & Beaman, warehousemen) paid on 16 April 1799, or even the singer, W. I. Rhodes, who became employed at Drury Lane at or shortly after the start of this season.
