Unknown £100 16s 6d Unknown Pd. Mr Wood BD vol. 16, pp. 233-4 lists a John Francis Wood, organist and violinist, who played in Covent Garden's oratorio bands 1793-1800, but it seems unlikely that he was the main paid here; more likely the recipient was William or Benjamin Wood(s), paid in relation to Thomas Harris on several occasions between 1785 and 1798. The Mr Wood paid "by Certificate" on 5 April 1793 may also have been the same person.
