Musicians (Kettle Drums) 5s Internal Kettle Drum
Clothing Material (Haberdashery) £44 15s External Paid Mr Watridge on Acct. of Mr Wilson CG paid Joseph Wat(e)ridge several times between the 1780-67 seasons, once calling him "Milliner", once "Haberdasher". Trade directories and data on London Lives shows that he was principally regarded as a haberdasher. On this occasion, it seems likely that CG was paying off a haberdashery bill incurred by the actor, Richard Wilson, or another Wilson associated with the theatre, as part of theatrical business. This contrasts to the payment to Wat(e)ridge of 28 October 1785, which seems to have involved a personal debt incurred by Mrs (Jane?) Lessingham.
