House Servants (Other) £5 5s Internal To Mr G: Garrick [per] Mangrs Ordrs:
Musicians (Kettle Drums) 5s Internal To a Kete: Drum
Clothing Purchase (Other) 18s 2d External To Glovers Bill LS vol. 4, p. 149 states, "Further records this season indicate that "Glover's Bill" which occurrs regularly each Monday was a constant sum paid to a tavern or coffee house, rather than to a glover." Yet it is unclear which records suggest any link to a tavern or coffee house, and John Powel, in Tit for Tat (Houghton THE GEN TS 1574.316), p. 35 includes "The Glover's Bill" in his record of regular DL expenditure in the 1747-49 seasons without any elaboration (whereas he normally elaborates on items that are not self-evident). LS also states, incorrectly, that the bill on this occasion was 18s only.
Wardrobe (Other) £4 2d Departmental To Mr Paddick a Bill [per] Ordr Mr Garrk: BD vol. 11, pp. 143-44 does not locate Mrs Paddick at DL, but states that her husband was at DL in 1749-51. She seems to have been a wardrobe mistress there, as suggested by a payment of 17 January 1750 "for Feathers & Sundies:".
