Performers (Other) £4 12s 6d Internal To Mr. Vaugh for his Arrears Milhous and Hume, in 'A Drury Lane Account Book for 1745-46', p. 89 identify the recipient as a Vaughan, and on p. 100 list a "H. Vaughan" only in the company's performers. Yet BD vol. 15, pp. 121-7 suggests that the history of the Vaughans is tangled, but that it was William Vaughan at DL in 1745-46, while Henry Vaughan was at CG. In any case, both brothers both acted and danced.
