Unknown £5 10s Unknown To Mr. Mure Pd Mr. Peacop Hutchison Mure was DL's mortgagee (lender), and perhaps became more directly involved in the theatre following Green and Amber's bankruptcy in December 1745. Milhous and Hume, in 'A Drury Lane Account Book for 1745-46', p. 101 list Peacop as DL's "housekeeper". There are six payments "To Mr. Mure Pd Mr. Peacop" (or "Peacote [?]") in this season's account book, and two further specifying Peacop alone, but it is unclear exactly whom was being paid, or for what, on each of these occasions.
Unknown £4 4s Unknown To Mr. Mure Pr Petty Cash Hutchison Mure was DL's mortgagee (lender), and perhaps became more directly involved in the theatre following Green and Amber's bankruptcy in December 1745. There are three payment records in this season's account book mentioning Mure in connection with "Petty Cash", but it is unclear what exactly they mean.
