On p. 100 they list "Barkley [or Barclay?]" (their square brackets) amongst DL's performers this season, but note that the identification comes from the account book, as he is not listed in LS. BD vol. 1, p. 284 positively states that an actor, "Mr Barclay", was with DL up to 1745-46, but was not in the company in 1745-46. |
