The preceding days notice started this performance was By Command of his Royal Highness The Prince of Wales although no such notice appears in the days Bill. But the following note is included on the days bill in the London Daily Post and General Advertiser: "By His Majestys Command no persons to be admitted behind the scenes nor any money to be returnd after the curtain is drawn up"
