Unknown £20 Unknown Mr. Harrison, by Do [a Note of hand Endors'd by him] and paid to Mr. Mercer A Mr Harrison was mentioned in three payment records of 1740-41, apparently being paid via notes of hand, which he endorsed, then deposited with or used to pay third parties, who then cashed them with CG. A Mr Harrison was also paid £10 8s on 29 October 1746 "the remainder of a Note with interest", which may have meant he (or a third party) was cashing in a note which he had endorsed, or may have meant that he had loaned CG money and was being repaid. In any case, the Mr Harrison(s) is/are unknown.
