Treasurers 5s Internal For my Attendance last Night at L: I. Fields The word "my" probably refers to Richard Ford (the treasurer), rather than to John Rich (the proprietor), as the account book typically refers to Rich in the third person. However, the account book also contains third-person references to "Mr Ford" (e.g on f. 163r). Possibly the writer was Thomas Wood, whom BD vol. 16, pp. 234-35 states was replaced by Ford as treasurer at the start of the 1735-36 season, but for whom the 1735-36 account book records payments at 5s per day - apparently his treasurer's salary - until the end of the season.
