BD vol. 9, pp. 108-10 states that, from 1804-05 through 1808-09 Lacey was paid £6 6s. per week as part of ""an agreement that he was to receive one guinea from every performance. He also was paid periodically on his annuity but, as was usual with Sheridan, those payments frequently were in arrears""; and that Sheridan paid the second Mrs Lacey ""18 guineas due on her husband's annuity"" in 1804. However, frequent multiple-guinea payments (sometimes £6 6s) to a ""Mr. Lacey"" appear in the Drury Lane account books from the 1797-98 season onwards. This suggests that the £6 6s payments made between 1804-05 and 1808-09 in fact fell into a longer-running series of annuity payments." "Funds and Trusts","£110 0s 0d",External,"Hammersley & Co.
