However, he was active as both a pyrotechnist and dancer at this time, and BD observes that this payment was ""for some unspecified service""; the term ""Saly"" (not mentioned by BD) suggests it was for dancing, but there is no other record of him dancing at Drury Lane at this time, so it is impossible to be sure."
